Durham College Rowing (commonly abbreviated to DCR) is the governing body representing all sixteen college boat clubs in Durham University, encompassing approximately half of the rowers, scullers, and coxes in the North East of England.

Rowing at Durham University began in 1834 upon the founding of University College Boat Club and has been growing ever since. The first intercollegiate races began in 1850 upon the creation of the Hatfield Hall Boat Club, the precursor of the current Hatfield College Boat Club.
