Hatfield College

Hatfield College Boat Club, founded in 1846, is the second oldest of all the boat clubs in Durham City. It is located on the River Wear near both Kingsgate and Elvet Bridges, and is one of the most competitive college clubs on the river, recently sending a womens 8+ to HWR 2022, and winning the intermediate w8+ category in Durham Regatta, 2022. HCBC is recognisable by its royal blue boats, and blue blades with a white lion on them.
